Brinda Dalal

Brinda serves as a Research Director for IFTF’s Technology Horizons Program, where she identifies emerging technology hotspots and helps organizations understand and design for change. Currently, her research focuses on how people will integrate ensembles of networked objects and devices into their lives. At IFTF, she has led or participated in projects from the future of consumption, mobility and well-being, to poverty alleviation and access to clean drinking water. Brinda also serves as the president of Dhoopa Ventures LLC, a research consulting company. Prior to Dhoopa, she cofounded the Clean Technology Initiative at Xerox PARC and helped to build a strong ethnographic competency at Xerox Global Services. Brinda obtained a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge.
